Dr Flanigan reattached the meniscus to the bone of of my right knee in June 2015. He didn't look at my age (60), instead looked at my lifestyle, overall health and desire to remain active. Because of his skill, I am playing sand 2's volleyball and hope to do so for many years!

Dr Flanigan has the most incredible bedside manner and exhibits genuine care and concern for patient well being. He takes the time to answer all questions and delivers the unpopular news with compassion and thoughtfulness. He has excellent staff members assisting him and they have all exhibited top notch professionalism and care. Specific to performing the surgery, Dr Flanigan visited me at the hospital to make sure I was fully prepared and assured me he would give me the strongest knee possible, before performing the surgery. My parents said he kept them informed with great details and he answered all of their questions. I'm recovering now, and while it's a long journey, I am well on my way and my post op appointments with him are going extremely well. I would highly recommend Dr. Flanigan to others, especially family and friends!

I was referred to him for a second opinion. He was much better than the first referral (affiliated with Riverside), and Dr Flanigan performed my surgery [new ACL and cartilage trimming] My whole experience with the OSU Sports Medicine Center has been excellent. The professional staff I've worked with: nurses, physician's assistants, physical therapists, exercise physiologists... they all seem to be top notch people who believe in what they're doing. One of the best experiences I've had with the medical community.
